Monlicious is a vegan, plant-based bakery based in Surrey, England, specialising in beautifully handcrafted cakes, desserts, and wholesome baked goods made with 100% natural ingredients.
Founded by Monica, Monlicious was created from a passion for baking, inspired by family and a desire to offer healthier sweet treats without compromising on taste. Today, Monlicious provides delicious vegan cakes, plant-based brownies and desserts to customers across Surrey and throughout the UK.
Our Story:
Monica’s love for baking began in Sarawak, Malaysia, where food and family traditions played an important role in everyday life. Her passion deepened after learning professional baking techniques from her uncle, an experienced baker working in a five-star hotel in Singapore.After becoming a mother to twin daughters, Celine and Chloe, Monica became more conscious of balanced nutrition and mindful eating. She wanted to create desserts that were both indulgent and nourishing—made using natural, plant-based ingredients, free from refined sugar and artificial additives.
In 2016, Monica baked a vegan birthday cake for her daughters. That moment marked the beginning of Monlicious. What started as a personal project soon grew into a dedicated vegan baking business serving customers in Surrey and across the UK.

Monica’s daughters continue to inspire new recipes and flavour ideas. Their favourites include the Sweet Potato Chocolate Tart and rich Chocolate Brownies and sourdough cinnamon rolls while Monica’s personal favourite remains the classic vegan Carrot Cake.

We have been featured in Surrey Wedding Magazine, showcasing our vegan cakes for special occasions and celebrations. Monica has also had the honour of serving as a judge at local council and community initiatives, supporting events such as Green Week and promoting sustainability.
